Job Title: Junior Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a desire to grow their career in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
– Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
– Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
– Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
– Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory filings.
– Support the senior accounting staff with various tasks and projects.
– Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
– Assist with audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Previous experience in an accounting role or internship is a plus.
